Traceability, Unifize, absolutely helps with traceability. Our quality management system, even though even when it was more manual intensive, we've always we've had a pretty good handle on traceability of raw materials and lots of finished goods because it involves our ERP as well.

00:16 - 00:18
And ERP is pretty solid with that stuff.

00:18 - 00:40
The accountability and the visibility was the biggest improvement for us. Visibility, as I referenced before, was very important because corrective actions, open deviations, change controls, all these basic portions of a quality management system would sometimes just not be finished because of how busy people are day to day in operating the business.

00:40 - 01:00
And accountability was a big deal as well, because sometimes you can send out an email and say, These are the things that we need to do in order to finish this process. But it's not always obvious who or what is responsible for finishing off the action items in that email or when one action item is complete and when the next person would have to take the handoff.

01:00 - 01:20
Having again, all that in a central area on Unifize has made that accountability process a lot easier because it's right there. You've assigned that stage of the process to a specific person with a specific due date, with automated reminders that it needs to, It's always open, it needs to get done. It needs to get done. You don't lose track of what's going on with that process.

But what we've known from what I experience was, is we were able to get there with the system. We still there with the system. The system has what is needed to provide us what we're looking for, because every company, admittedly, is trying to get compliant. If we educate people, if we get people the education that they need and to get over the fear factor, I think 90% of those things can be resolved because most people will go to what they're most familiar with. What I worked with from a different company, but they're not willing to sit down and look at what the demographics are saying. People are into social media now. People are moving fast into fast paced world. But technologies are still antiquated. So there's a disconnect here, right? So while we're moving at a fast pace at home with dragging at work, so why can't we continue that speed while we at work?If your supplier has issues and you're not informed on time, you want to have an alternate supplier in place. If your suppliers are not qualified, you may not know that that needs to happen. And so when you have an integrated system that speaks to itself and is giving you all this data, you literally have the pulse of the organization in your hands as an executive at a money bound access.
