00:00 - 00:13
So just having a automated system in place to remind people that things still need approval has been a big deal for us because, as a smaller company, as we were growing, you know, the amount of hats that people wear continue to increase.

00:13 - 00:36
And so the ability to stay on top of our big ongoing projects or big ongoing quality open cases became more and more difficult. And things like basic things like just getting the sign-offs and approvals in the back end would linger on for weeks to months because no one was staying on top of it. No one was reminding people that this is something that needed to be done because you're busy all the time during the day.

00:36 - 01:00
These things are easy to leave in the wayside, being able to tie the approval sorry, automate the approval and tie it to the process itself. So our case, the managing team can always see I am getting reminders every three days, every seven days, this needs your approval. Get it done and all it takes is a quick logging in and sign off and everyone can see that it's been it's been approved and you can move on to the next stage.

01:00 - 01:10
Being able to assign accountability for each stage in the process to people for both approvals, as well as just moving the process along, has also been really valuable for us too.

01:10 - 01:14
So this is where Unifize has played a really big role in improving our quality management system.

01:14 - 01:32
I'd say approvals. It's really very much all over the place, anywhere from three or four weeks to sometimes could linger to 6 to 8 months because things just fall within the cracks. And it's not until, you know, you have, say, an external audit coming up, you start to review your open cases. They realize that things haven't been addressed.

01:32 - 01:36
I've been left open for for half a year.

01:36 - 01:47
Being able to utilize Unifize to create more efficiency and transparency in the process has allowed us to reduce that variability down to pretty consistently about two weeks.

01:47 - 02:02
So that has been a huge benefit to us overall. It allows us to move our product development, move our quality assurance issues, move our quality improvement processes along much quicker so that all those improvements impact the quality of the overall product.

02:02 - 02:06
And the product as a whole gains more value in the eyes of our consumers and products.

But what we've known from what I experience was, is we were able to get there with the system. We still there with the system. The system has what is needed to provide us what we're looking for, because every company, admittedly, is trying to get compliant. If we educate people, if we get people the education that they need and to get over the fear factor, I think 90% of those things can be resolved because most people will go to what they're most familiar with. What I worked with from a different company, but they're not willing to sit down and look at what the demographics are saying. People are into social media now. People are moving fast into fast paced world. But technologies are still antiquated. So there's a disconnect here, right? So while we're moving at a fast pace at home with dragging at work, so why can't we continue that speed while we at work?If your supplier has issues and you're not informed on time, you want to have an alternate supplier in place. If your suppliers are not qualified, you may not know that that needs to happen. And so when you have an integrated system that speaks to itself and is giving you all this data, you literally have the pulse of the organization in your hands as an executive at a money bound access.
