We looked at several tools when we started this journey. And I'm a quality person, so that means I leave this space of quality systems. And so whenever I go to a company and I'm asked to come up with a quality system that is sufficient for a company, I look at what is most going to work in terms of what its capabilities are and also where they are going to be a few years from then. So set them to succeed.

00:24 - 00:42
Some of the tools we looked at obviously are tools out there like, you know, Ignite EDMS systems There's also other tools we looked at, such as Veeva, MasterControl and IQMS Documentum and we looked at Greenlight Guru, we did look at Greenlight Guru.

00:42 - 01:29
The reason why we chose is just because the other tools required our whole implementation. Some IT connectivity. It was a little more effort to get those systems implemented as compared to Unifize of the other aspects of it is also the integration. I mean Unifize, when the conversations were part of the tool, which means we didn't have an extra, We didn’t need to have an extra place where we needed to go and converse about the data, the conversation was part of it. That was a big sell for us because we found out that our capabilities needed us to be highly integrated. As a company, when you're starting out, integration is really key. You want to make sure that the conversations are happening when they should happen.

01:29 - 01:52
Things are happening fast also, so nobody has time to go and log into several systems. They can just go into one system and be able to get all the information that they need and also decisions are being made very fast. So as a lead in the organization, one of the things I wanted to be aware is to drive the conversations, to be aware of what the risks of those items are.

01:52 - 02:08
You know, when something happened, it was very clear some decisions need to be made faster because that meant somebody is not making something happen or you want it to be in front of some of these decisions because you want it to influence how that would happen. So that integration was really important.

02:08 - 02:19
And when we looked at Unifize, we were very comfortable that Unifize would get us there faster, quickly, very fast implementation that would give us the results that we're looking for.

But what we've known from what I experience was, is we were able to get there with the system. We still there with the system. The system has what is needed to provide us what we're looking for, because every company, admittedly, is trying to get compliant. If we educate people, if we get people the education that they need and to get over the fear factor, I think 90% of those things can be resolved because most people will go to what they're most familiar with. What I worked with from a different company, but they're not willing to sit down and look at what the demographics are saying. People are into social media now. People are moving fast into fast paced world. But technologies are still antiquated. So there's a disconnect here, right? So while we're moving at a fast pace at home with dragging at work, so why can't we continue that speed while we at work?If your supplier has issues and you're not informed on time, you want to have an alternate supplier in place. If your suppliers are not qualified, you may not know that that needs to happen. And so when you have an integrated system that speaks to itself and is giving you all this data, you literally have the pulse of the organization in your hands as an executive at a money bound access.
